know good people. I was in Key West a few years ago hosing off the back of my friends boat when a mama manatee and her baby manatee swam up to us at the marina.

I said to my friend, "Oh man, look at this, wonder what they want?. She said, they want some fresh water. I didn't know they drink fresh water so I put the hose near mama and she took a big drink. She moved aside (baby was watching the whole time) so I stuck the hose down near the baby. It took a few tries, but baby finally got it and drank and drank.

I have the video of this magical encounter, at the end I look into the phone and say "At this moment, I am the luckiest person on Earth."

There is a Manatee Park near me n in the winter, there are lots of them there because the water treatment plant is close by n they need that warm water. Loved the video..
