i always reply “apropos of nothing, why does the song “Macho Man” keep going thru my head? If a tenth of you guys did what you claim you’d do we’d have to get the snowplows out to clear the streets!”

one guy kept posting about a homeless guy panhandling outside the local CVS…”unsettling”, “disturbing”, etc.

i posted “Man…if some scrawny guy with no shoes makes you feel so afraid maybe you should spend some time at the gym instead of Nextdoor…just sayin’.”

They generally get quiet after that.

Maybe you wouldn't LOSE your dog if you had a fence and didn't just open the door in the morning and expect it to ignore every bit of wildlife darting about. Half the population here seem to be missing their dog or cat.

misbehaving youths (where are their parents?!), why aren't the city/the police taking care of X problem, what were those sirens about?
