Most don't know it, but:

Pigs are strong swimmers and can swim in the sea. In fact, pigs are known to swim for a variety of reasons, including:
To escape danger: Red river hogs can swim underwater to escape leopards.
To find food: Pigs will swim to seek food sources.
To find better habitat: Pigs may swim to find better habitat.
To enjoy the water: Pigs may enjoy swimming in the sea after relaxing on the beach.
