Please dont ask me this guy is, as I have no idea. He is apparently quite influential.
Please do allow me to influence you with this nugget of wisdom: hang up and drive.
The YouTuber and streamer, who appears to be banned from Kick following the incident, was seen looking at his phone before hydroplaning into a highway guardrail.

Internet personality Jack Doherty crashed his $200,000 McLaren during a livestream this weekend after appearing to look at his phone while driving in the rain.
A YouTuber with nearly 15 million subscribers, Doherty, 20, is known online for his controversial prank videos and wealth flaunting. He streamed the crash on Kick, where his channel appears to have been banned following the incident.
A clip of the stream that circulated online appeared to show Doherty seemingly speeding on a wet highway while glancing down at the phone in his hand, before exclaiming No, no, no! as he lost control of his car and veered into a guardrail.
Doherty also shared clips of the aftermath, including a video of him screaming for help inside the vehicle immediately after the crash. In the video, he asked one of his rescuers to hold the camera for him as a group of bystanders dragged him out of the window.

Jack deleted his other video after getting noted, and didn't include important context here, which was that he was actively checking his phone and speeding in wet conditions while livestreaming this entire ordeal.

Rainy conditions, a distracted YouTuber, and a $200,000 McLaren don't mix.

(1,796 posts)Very telling that the only thing he cared about at first was his car while he clearly didn't give a shit about the guy who was in the car with him (who appeared legitimately hurt). He's damn lucky he didn't kill anyone. What a messed up society we have when an idiotic kid like this can get rich just by posting stupid stuff on YouTube.

(929 posts)- an internet influencer or content creator. These people post informative videos in a large variety of subjects, from the benign to the abusive. Doherty has gone from flipping objects in the air to land in an upright position to the video just posted. Each influencer and content creator should be judged solely on an individual basis as they are all different, and not as a group or a whole.
