One of the main tenets of a parent is to protect their children from harm.
Instead he put them right on top of a killer.

Kid #2 isn't much happier, and instead of taking them off he moves them closer to the lion's head. When kid #2 starts yelling, the lion reacts. They are all lucky there was time to get them away before the lion really reacted badly.
I don't know where this is - I suspect its in a country where the laws aren't very strict. Not sure why this huge lion is on a table like this in the first place. In the US this would certainly be child endangerment.
