Shooting clay birds yesterday well lets just say if i ever started small game hunting again. Id probably scare the shit out of the rabbits or grouse and they would live to see another day😂
I remember hunting as kid back home in Appalachia mountains of Pennsylvania and up to mid thirties then i just lost interest even rifle season for deer shit today Id probably just be taking the 30-06 for deer or 12 gauge semi ithaca small game for a walk as much as i missed yesterday . Yet still hardcore fishing especially fall trout and no brag we have some great trout fishing here near Gettysburg pa.
Maybe Im being to hard on myself am ordering new yearly glasses today after eye appointment.

(33,064 posts)I'm 77 and it's hard to shoot your age in golf. A month ago I shot a 73, 34-39 on a par 72 course. Easy Peasey to shoot my age now.
However, just got done doing pre-knee replacement exercises for my Thanksgiving knee replacement. Things do break down.

(77,668 posts)I haven't shot my age. I'm only 68 & I can't break par anymore. (Only twice in the last 3 years. A 71 & a 69, but I was only 65 when I shot that 69.)
I shot 73 on Saturday, but that 5 strokes is big. I'm not sure there was a way, beyond some incredibly lucky putting, to have shot 5 strokes better.
Hit it great today, so maybe in a few years?

(1,636 posts)that you're supposed to bowl your weight and golf your age, not the other way around
(I'm 62 and I golf my age.....on the front nine

(5,337 posts)I count golf balls. I buy a new box of 12 and when I lose the last one, I'm done. Sometimes I make it to the fifth hole!

(1,958 posts)It's small game season here in Michigan and I don't really walk the hunting land we have access to as well as I used to. (I'm 55)
I like it and all, just not in as good of shape to do it. Had two rabbits my son got the other day for dinner last night. THey were beyond delicious.
