So, " new headlights",

Can reach up to half mile? What good are they, when you tailgate me, and dont, turn your brights off? Pass me, or back off, You'll just get caught up in my accident. Drive, while drive, text, while you walk.
( had to make a quick run to town, for LilGlad, this is what I dealt with.)
Rant over, very stressful drive.

Been a problem for 20-30 years. It started with the after market Xenon ones. Now they are leds but way too bright. And worse usually in the blue side which is worse at night after they pass.

I can hardly drive at night now because of them. And, when they’re both in front of you and in your rear view mirror, it’s almost impossible to see.

...and the states have done absolutely nothing about them. I've read several articles about the damn things.
I'm waiting for a class-action lawsuit, regarding those God-damn monsters. They ARE dangerous.

the auto industry has been a drag on reform, just as they were with all other 'safety' features - you know, seat belts, gasoline safety, impact regulations - and now the issue of headlights. The 'technology' is there to make things both brighter and safer for ALL drivers - but, well, like I said...............
