(15,479 posts)You know, the sitcom from the 80s and 90s. Its pretty funny and relatable. Too bad Roseannes such a bigoted douche nozzle now. Her shows used to have a lot of progressive themes.

I LOVE to laugh and I LOVE funny movies and shows. Also, spontaneous laughter with friends is the best.
Some of the movies that I've watched too many times to count are:
Bridesmaids, The Hangover, Father of the Bride (the older one with Spencer Tracy), Raising Arizona, Best in Show, Waiting for Guffman, There's Something About Mary, Young Frankenstein, Pillow Talk, Send Me No Flowers, Lover Come Back, Monty Python and the Holy Grail, The Producers, A Christmas Story, Ferris Bueller's Day Off, The Big Lebowski, My Cousin Vinny, Meet The Parents, The Birdcage, and others!
Wanda Sykes, Bob Newhart, John Mulaney, and other standups.....

(8,547 posts)The Evil Dead series invented slapstick horror, but this element was unintentional with the first one. Metalocalypse was a dark comedic cartoon that was great in many ways. Anthony Jeselnik is all-in on this with his stand-up routine. Black Mirror has some gallows humor.

(2,218 posts)If it's a comedian, there are many candidates but I am going to vote for Sarah Sherman on Saturday Night Live, especially her back-and-forth with Colin Jost on Weekend Update. She is great in the skits she's in too. That woman cracks me up every time I see her.
If you want a specific comedy routine or just a single line, I am going to vote for this line from one of the all-time great madcap movies, Bringing Up Baby: "Because he knows where my intercostal clavicle is!" I'm not going to try to explain that line. You just have to watch the movie to get the context.
