1. My dog is on the same schedule, he gets up 30 minutes before sunrise.

He doesn't really care about the time. Thank goodness the sun's rising later each day. And I do find myself going to bed earlier now too.

2. Same with my cat. As soon as it gets light out she shows up

And they don't care if it's still dark outside. They just know what time it really is.

6. Yeah.. My girlie gets to walk pre-dawn at 4:45 but now she wants me up and out the door to do her 3 miles at 3:45...

My dogs will not get up until I do. If I decide to sleep in late - no problem. One sleeps on my bed and one on a second bed but they often play musical beds or move to floor.

I can feed them their first meal in the morning or early afternoon- fine with them. But after their meal they want their Milk Bone treats and if my female Jazz doesn’t get her treats, she will not leave me alone - pawing me. We have a snowstorm right now and I ran out of “cookies” so I made them a sourdough tortilla with lots of butter & called them cookies. It worked.

They have a doggie door out to a 100’ by 40’ fenced run with trees so I never have to worry about letting them out.

Gets up early, looks to be fed early. Like, "What's the matter with you? You're late catering to my needs," ever since the time change.
