Thanks a lot for posting this. I had forgotten all about that. Going to go to my basement listening room and crank that one up.

I'm always happy to share the Zappa love with those who appreciate it!

Here's a bonus helping of classic Zappa joy, with some special Beefheart flavoring sprinkled on top... This one also never fails to put me in the groove, from the same Hot Rats album.

Enjoy!

this stanza from Shane MacGowan's singing of The Limerick Rake

in Euclid and grammar they taught me to write
but my heart it was stolen by a pair of brown thighs
she came from the mountains, her stockings were white
I'd love to be tied to her garter

Love live versions of both because on a Sunny Day, he has a kid come and sing with him and Never Can Tell, he brings out the horns and it reminds me of Mardi Gras..both happy toe tappers unless I’m by myself and dance!

Probably a few others I might add, but these two totally envelope me with ebulence!
JOY!!!

Everybody Wants to Rule The World/ Tears for Fears
I pretty much ignore the words - it's the music, and singing...
The first few notes make me think of sweet summer breezes. Bass, and melody plus kicks in, and I feel like I'm walking outside in my city, or in one of our big parks, grdens on a crystalline Late Spring, Early Summer day. 🥰
