Maybe I am totally off the mainstream. But I think I have good ideas.
I rec interesting information, good ideas, and “clever” responses or solutions.

I don't always agree with you but you are an advocate for what you believe in and your posts often make me pause to think and that deserves a recommendation IMO

Sometimes it’s really hard to figure out what is right or wrong on-line. Feel like I need a class or something.

I rec a lot, in fact it's less common for me to not rec because I would really have to disagree with the post to not rec.

appreciation to the posters for taking the trouble. Even if the post is "bad" news (i.e. 'Analyst says Dem Strategy Sucks'). Sometimes I worry people might think I rec'd a post because I agree with it, but in the cases where I rec a "bad news" post it's either because it's important to know, or to thank the poster.

I bookmark REALLY crucial posts, probably way too many.

We have certain people who regular post breaking or important news, or news on all sorts of topics, like climate, environment, even archeology. Sometimes I even rec posts and the only purpose is to sort of let them know people are reading and appreciate what they do.

And come February, you'll get a heart from them.

I'm just speculating.

If someone is feeling stalked, they have a right to say something.

If someone is following every single comment and post you make and rec'ing it,
some people may find it a bit disconcerting.

It started not long ago. It could be a freak coincidence where random people rec s post of mine and it's the only rec I get for that particular post.

General Discussion. in the last 90 days. Why not put on GD instead of on the Lounge., I don;t do GD so no I am not your stalker.but someone on GD might be . If I was you I would post this over there.

How do you check to see who rec'd your post? I can see the number of recs, but I don't see who actually did the rec.

That's super easy. You just click the top of the rec box and a list will pop up.
But, I'm unaware how to check them on an in-thread post.
Thought you knew, which I why I asked! I figured I'd learn something new.
Now, we're both stuck!
