Seriously, do not feel compelled to answer that question!

Never on my right side, as I feel defenseless with my right hand & arm incapacitated.

She likes to curl up against my stomach, but only if I'm on my right side. It bothers her if I turn over and sleep on the other side; for some reason she doesn't like to sleep on that side of me so I'm stuck on my right side if she's there. It's kind of like when your cat is sleeping on your lap and you can't get up to go to the bathroom. It's basically cat jail.

My left leg stretched out and my left arm under the pillows. Face planted in my pillows.

I body plant in other words.

My dogs readjust as I do. My cats play tug of war with the covers when I turn. The struggle is real.

Or they all sleep next to my idiot who never seems to move while sleeping.

I have arthritis in my thoracic vertebrae, I believe, and it takes a good minute for the popping and cracking to subside. I always try to get in some sleep on my right side, as I heard it can help brain activity in the form of eliminating amyloid bodies that have been linked to Alzheimer’s and other forms of dementia.

Especially when I first lie down. By the time I awake enough to become somewhat aware, I switch to the right side for awhile, after things have ‘loosened up’ a bit.

They've developed a habit of leaving me an accessible zone -- not necessarily human-shaped -- between them, and I try to fit in however I can.

…I became a back sleeper. Sleeping on the side wasn’t recommended during the recovery phase, and I got used to the back position.
