People don’t clear their driveways at 12:30 in the morning unless they have a really good reason.

He bought the house next door and spent three years redoing everything about it. It was like living next to a construction site. We had to keep all our windows closed in the sweltering heat of summer. And we don't have AC, so it was miserable. After he moved in, he made it petty clear he wanted almost nothing to do with the neighbors. We have a monthly pot luck dinner and he's attended exactly two of them.
Last winter we had a power outage. So he fired up his industrial strength generator and put it on his driveway right next to our house. When I asked him if he could put it behind his garage he just said, "No." Total fuckhead.

Aim some bright-ass security lights towards their house. Make sure to say the same thing when he complains and asks you to move them.

And doesn't work a night shift. He's just an asshole. He's a fanatic about keeping his driveway and lawn perfect. He had his lawn cut and leaf blown the week before Christmas. We're talking 35 degree weather.
