What a decent, kind-hearted person to adopt this old dog. Thank you, red dog 1. I desperately need stories like this one with everything going on right now. Sometimes I need to be reminded that kind, caring, giving, selfless people still exist.

Maybe I'm an old softie deep inside, but the sight of that dog running and playing brought tears to my eyes. Happy tears, but tears nonetheless.

All 3 lived months longer than expected. One was 6 months, one 9, and the last one was well over a year. Love, attention, and good food does wonders.

He's having fun and loving in probably his best home yet! Made me think of Dino, a16 yr old newfie mix who adopted some yrs back. He had come abused living in a barn with his vocal chords cut- who the hell does that? He had one good yr before cancer got him. He was a great kid.
