The challenge is one of my best friends is a major K.C. fan. Hell, I am too. I'd just like to see the bills finally win a super bowl.
We'll probably be watching the game together so i'm going to need to keep my real feelings in check.....

(13,804 posts)I got a bad taste in my mouth with the Chiefs/ Andy Reid/coach decided to " throw the game" so they didn't have to give the Bengals a chance in the playoffs. They played the Broncos.

(1,208 posts)such as my entire family, and to see them get to the Super Bowl and lose. It would be devastating to them and the community at large after getting there 5x and losing each time. If they win against KC today, that scenario comes into play. Im not a big sports fan, but when you live in WNY Bills osmosis cannot be avoided entirely so a loss today would be a downer, but a loss in the Super Bowl would destroy the Bills Mafia and the community at large.
Ive always thought that if the emotional energy and money that goes into spectator sports could be redirected into politics to produce real change for the better in this country, wed be looking at a country with universal health care, free college, stronger unions, the rich and corporations paying their fair share, and a less stressful existence for all Americans. But it is what it is.
That being said, Go Bills!!!!!!

(71,375 posts)I'll watch the game, but I don't really have a vested interest in who wins.
Just hoping for a good game.

(29,291 posts)I've had a belly-full of the decades Jerry Jones has been wiping his ass with what used to be my favorite pro football team. As long as the Cowboys faithful keep enriching Jerry for his brain-dead management of what used to be a first-rate franchise, it's not going to get any better. If this morning's online sports sites are any indication, I'm finally getting a whole bunch of support in this regard.
Looking forward to a couple of good games today.
