The idea behind the Hamburg-based Turkish artist's body of work is to use ordinary objects to create compositions of beauty. Gkebag says his inspiration lies in “finding the poetry in the everyday.” As such, the 47-year-old skillfully assembles the fragile household items into visually pleasing arrangements that reflect an astute understanding of spacial design and composition.
