We had one on our driveway a few months ago. He was just standing there. One of my friends approached him thinking that he would fly away. Instead, he did a little dance, and then he flew away.

is a tagged owl. Poor guy/gal is being tracked. No privacy!

It's part of her parole deal.
To be fair, she is a flight risk.

And for two days, the babies (5!!!) were perched in my honey locust tree. Neighbors came from all over and they were only about 10 feet up in the tree... just watching this parade of humans. It was glorious.
