I'm already receiving more managerial support in the first few weeks I've been here than I ever did with my previous employers. The clinic manager here is absolutely wonderful. She's a staunch, proud, unshakeable liberal, so that helps. She wants what's best for everybody. Patients, providers, staff, etc.

Please let this not be a honeymoon period. Let it always be this way...

The clinic manager came to my office this morning to tell me how much positive feedback I'm already getting from my patients. That's very gratifying. She even told me the district manager (who is an MD, not an administrator) has been hearing very good things. Beats the kind of harassment I got from management at my former employers all to hell.
