That crossover doesn't wear off, as we see nowadays in videos of hand reared monsters gleefully "greeting" their caretaker after years of separation , after release into the wild. I just remembered Elsa.
Just in case you haven't seen the video of Christian the lion's reunion with his rescuers...and I'm sure you have... make sure you plug in his reunion with Whitney Houston's I will always love you as the background music. Tears me up every time!!!!!
