(6,964 posts)How about you get the Mesa Verde Salad or the Cilantro Avocado Lime bowl? Maybe Quorn tacos on corn tortilla? What about Biryani? Or just about any Indian dish? Poke bowl?
I wait tables. I do counter service. I have for years. You want to know what i hate? "This burger isn't cooked right!" or "This steak isn't rare!"
There's nothing wrong with being a vegetarian or having food allergies.

(854 posts)Or specific dietary needs? I understand some people can be difficult. Ive worked in restaurants and its generally pretty easy to know whether you can accommodate someones needs and communicate options, if any. There are people whod love to have less dietary restrictions. Difficult people can come in all forms. Trying to navigate allergies isnt inherently mean you are being difficult.

(344 posts)I've had customers say the same thing. If they want a meaty taste, I suggest a Beyond burger made of peas and brown rice.
