There have been so many doctor shows on TV so choosing which one is best will get a lot of different opinions. I like a TV doctor show from the 2000s over the other shows. My choice is Doc Martin.

The term “practicing” takes on too nasty a connotation with an intern for me.

We were a Casey family when I was a kid---although we watched both series.

My folks watched Dr. Kildare and Dr. Casey. I usually found something to do elsewhere.
The TV doc I know the best is Doc Adams, who like the other folks from Dodge City, is like an old friend.

Casey was a little too hairy for my taste.

My father wasn't hairy, and I was too young (12) to appreciate chest hair.
