That 10 am first cup of coffee was wonderful!

Yup! I bet it was! How do you take your coffee?

It makes 8 ounces at a time. I usually drink 2 pots, so a pint, black every morning. The silver lining to long covid exhaustion is that I can drink coffee in the afternoon now, too. It used to keep me up at night, now it keeps me on my feet.

I bet that’s fun! But having long Covid is no fun. How long have you had Covid?

Aww. And I imagine the coffee helps with the tiredness?

If I weren’t retired it could be troublesome; I know people who are terribly affected. I am more like inconvenienced.

And I get to enjoy more coffee.

I used to buy high-end beans from local roasters, and ground it at home, you know, really cared. i even for a while ordered beans from a really cool organic supplier in California who sourced it from all over the world, and got my office mates to order too. Delivery day was like Christmas.

Now I am retired, and lately it has been Cafe Bustelo. It’s from Ohio, hah, and owned by the Smucker Company, as I just discovered. It tastes fine to me and gets rhe job done!
