(4,664 posts)Welcome back debm.
Peanut butter is one of the most horrible things I've ever tasted.
Love peanuts, but not whatever makes it peanut butter. Same for almonds, and peaches.

(465 posts)I have jelly beans year round! A few years ago, I used to get them at WalMart, their name brand for $1.00. Then they disappeared. So, I switched to bulk at Winco, then those disappeared. I have ordered some off of Amazon, but Brach's are expensive on Amazon and all the other brands are nasty! Now I rely on Easter to I stock up. What the heck went wrong with jelly beans?

(3,286 posts)Both of those are nasty.
Hands off all the chocolate, especially the Reese's Peanut Butter eggs. Don't touch those, and no one gets hurt.
Did I mention that I am a chocoholic?

(3,145 posts)I like chocolate and I like peanut butter, but for some reason, I don't like chocolate and peanut butter mixed together. Go figure.
The jelly beans can stay, as long as they're Jelly Bellies, which is, in my opinion, the only good thing to come out of the Reagan administration (he loved them).

(3,832 posts)Please withhold judgement until you have prepared and served them properly!
Roasting a traditional pastel peep (no lime, watermelon, or chocolate) on a skewer over an open fire produces a confection which resembles creme brulee.
Any other preparation misses the great potential of these colorful bunnies.

(1,113 posts)I like black jelly beans, and can do without the rest of the colors. Jelly Bellies are good but not worth the price, IMO. Malted milk balls are okay if they're relatively fresh. When they grow old they get nasty.
Notice that no one, no one at all, is advocating against the chocolate bunny.

Reese's peanut butter eggs are acceptable
I hate the traditional "Easter" candy.
Marshmallow Peeps are only good for building hysterical dioramas. I love looking at those

Kick in to the DU tip jar?
This week we're running a special pop-up mini fund drive. From Monday through Friday we're going ad-free for all registered members, and we're asking you to kick in to the DU tip jar to support the site and keep us financially healthy.
As a bonus, making a contribution will allow you to leave kudos for another DU member, and at the end of the week we'll recognize the DUers who you think make this community great.
