OK, see how I just spelled TROUBLE in the header. I got a red squigle line underneath but when I "Right Clicked" on it to get the correction, the box comes up saying "no correction". This happens quite a bit.
But then sometimes it does give me a correction. Anyone else have this happening?

(27,772 posts)Ha! Found the problem. There are spell check settings. I turned off the AI option. Then I purposely misspelled 10 words in this post. Got the right correction on all of them.

Education Secretary Linda McMahon did publish an authentic letter to Harvard on May 5, 2025, but Harvard did not make the red pen corrections and did not post the corrected letter.

(1,121 posts)the search engine is much smarter than any spell check. If I can't spell a word well enough to get the correct spelling on my spell check, I copy and paste it into the internet search engine. That usually comes up with the answer.
