I know I'm a newbie here, but I've lurked for years. SALMON CHANTED EVENING was THE most important post I would wait for every week. When he posted I felt like a kid reading the Sunday Funnies from the newspaper. He is endeared in my heart and I don't even know him personally. What a truly giving man. He's like my Tommy, I've never heard a single person to have a crossed word to say about him. Please let him know how dear he is to me and everyone here on DU! My heart would break should anything happen to him.

I don't know where you are so I don't know what the hospital is like - but I hope you get as good care as I got in 2023 when I unexpectedly had to be in one (including rehab for about a month), and I hope you get out in at least as good shape as I did - which was not perfect but I felt good enough to research and post.

I hope with all my heart that you will be feeling better soon. You are such an important part of the DU family and are so beloved here. I wish you the speediest of recoveries. Please take good care of yourself.
