Is there a polite way to say I am not up for company today?

Usually my cousin stops in to take my trash to the town recycling center, and then stops back for a two hour visit. I only got four hours sleep last night, and I cried myself to sleep. I am not in any shape to put on a happy face and hold up my part of the conversation.

just say .....I enjoy our visits but I'm really not feeling great today. So I'll be going back to lay down after you go. Have a good weekend and again thanks for picking up my trash.

Just a suggestion.

Hope you feel better soon.
