Introduction

I saw Frank Zappa and the Mothers of Invention play with Zubin Mehta and the LA Philharmonic when I lived in Los Angeles many moons ago. They collaborated on a piece with lots of wild fugue action and at one point, members of the orchestra disbursed among the audience, playing a discordant melody as they moved about. Insane drum solo for the finale.
