(8,949 posts)But not against that wall and ceiling, or with those colors. This needs to be in a room with dark wood furniture / wall trim/ moulding. Deep saturated color on the walls and ceiling. Think maybe the captains quarters on an old, wooden, 5-masted schooner or an old mansion's library.
You could even do it on a porch as long as you could protect it from wind/bad weather.
You'd have to be careful about the candle's, but definitely use them.

(9,372 posts)I was going to say "I might, if I had the house to go with it." I admire Art Nouveau and particularly staind glass, but I'm way too committed to surrounding myself with things that function for me to beable to put together even a single room where that would look good, -much les a house.

(12,206 posts)I'm extremely fortunate that there's none of that creepy nonsense here in this home.
I can't stand being in people's homes that have these type of trophies.
I also understand how important it is for deer hunters to help control the deer population to keep deer diseases in decline.
I'm just not a fan of seeing the deer heads hanging on a wall. It's s "I can't breathe" type of dislike.
I didn't mean to get so long winded this morning.
