The DU Lounge
Related: Culture Forums, Support ForumsI use closed captioning because I am severely hearing impaired, and sometmes the captions
are hilariously wrong but still comprehensible. For example, "sicko pants" for "sycophants."
Just now the CC for an article I was reading rendered "Pulitzer Prize" as "pullet surprise."

I used to teach English, so I always notice mistakes in the captions, some of which are very funny in context. Love that "sicko pants" example! Maybe we should start a thread with funny examples we come across on a daily basis.
