The DU Lounge
Related: Culture Forums, Support ForumsJust got home from my Brain MRI.
(I knew what it was for!)
I'm worried, and a little scared.
Maybe we'll find out why my right arm and hand feel like they belong
to someone else. Been like this since the end of June. Finally got to
see the neurosurgeon two weeks ago, (First available appt.!!) he
ordered the MRI.
I'm well into the double-digits of major surgeries, hope I won't have to
get a 3rd laminectomy.
(That's when they remove portions of your cervical vertebrae (in your
neck) when it impinges on your spinal cord.) Happened twice so far
2009 and 2021.
Just have to hope for the best I guess.

Africa has different spices and flavors.. wish i could get more interest
in my Gold Coast (Ghana & Nigeria) posts, they're so obviously brilliant
yet I can't seem to engender any interest. It's like Indo-Chinese you have
make a commitment to get the necessary adjuncts...

(1,051 posts)That this is an easier fix for you. I found out today that I need hearing aids, but anything that doesn't involve anesthesia, surgery, and physical therapy sounds good to me. Pulling for you!

(55,916 posts)mind. Hospitals and doctors have been very slow on setting up appointments and people are in a rush to get appointments before the new year as one pays more out of the pocket once December ends. Remember we love you and your humor and wit. With my breast cancer scare and Rich's radiation for his Malignant Cancer. they seemed to be in no hurry. You are strong, you are loved. I will keep you in my prayers.
