I put Aspercreme on one calf, Capsacin on the other and Icy Hot on my shoulder. We'll see which one works the best

(645 posts)A friend kept recommending it so I finally tried it and the way it works for me is, it just feels wet and sticky until, a short time later, I go, oh hey, my knee doesn't hurt any more.
Please share the results of your test.

(22,725 posts)I try not to touch any of the creams (my eyes! OMG, my eyes! lol)
I don't have to share any of the products, so I apply them from the tubes. I rigged a back scratcher into an applicator to use icy hot on my back.

(12,626 posts)I grow stuff all year. Working around volatile oils, such as those found in hot peppers, are an almost everyday project. I have made my own capsaicin rubs along with other food related projects.
I have an alcohol spray bottle to clean my hands after each experience with any product like those.
Learned very, very, very fast after stringing Ghost Peppers to dry. The needle came loose from the thread, before I went to re-thread the needle I licked the end of the thread to get a point, easing entry through the needle hole.
Wow
I got the point! My eyes started tearing and the uneducated me wiped his tears away
or so I thought.
Down, down, down in a burning ring of fire was my only thought.

(21,785 posts)You put Aspercreme on this calf? Why did you do that, Marthe? Why? Just kidding...I hope all of those things work for you!

I was hoping for a mild interaction so I can stop taking breaks and finish the grueling race to Christmas!
