I still get goosebumps on rewatching certain scenes.

The guitar player who played the theme music for the intro to the show! (won an Emmy for it!)

Great musician!

Listen to the orchestration of the theme in S1:E1 then compare it to any following episode. It’s kind of cheesy-sounding, like a demo, (synthesizers?) but then they recorded it with a real orchestra. And it sounds great!

I love how it ends on the sub-dominant harmony instead of the tonic giving it an “unfinished” feel.

There were too many great characters throughout the series for me to choose a favorite.

However, I found Mandy to be annoying but I loved Sir John Maybury.

I loved Allison Janney playing C.J. Clegg

and Bradley Whitford playing Josh Lyman

But they were all so great, even the guest stars! It's hard to have a favorite on that show.

...Mrs. Landingham and Debbie Fiderer.

For me, the Mandy and Amy characters were annoying as hell, and I also found the way the First Lady was written very odd. Sometimes she was supportive, and other times very unpredictable and rude.

That was the GREATEST ensemble cast of all time!

(And it introduced the "walk and talk". Now every show does it!)

Brilliant cast and writers! 😃

If you want to know why, it's because I am Toby. My outlook is not quite as gloomy as his, but I have been described as quixotic, and of course, I have a soft spot for homeless people.

Also, I'm balding and have a beard...
