you? I am on anti-anxiety and anti-depressants so I can't mix the two.

(15,639 posts)(hot brewed, then steeped and chilled, with lots of little extra 'hints' and bonus points - cinnamon, orange peel, apple ... ) Sounds weird (just ask my relatives!) - but it's actually a great drink - both summer and winter!

(29,808 posts)2/3 Green Tea and Lemonade with 1/3 Italian grapefruit soda. Very refreshing.
In the warmer months of the year, I put a glass in the freezer with about 1/3 of the green tea drink in it until it gets a little crust of ice, and then add the remaining green tea and the grapefruit soda.

(3,144 posts)I like many flavors, but my favorite is chai tea latte. Since I've been boycotting Starbucks, I have been on a mission to find a chai tea latte I like as well as theirs.
I also like Coke and drink too much of it.

(34,377 posts)Occasionally, during the summer with a San Pelligrino Limonata over ice. But I don't make it a habit because of the sugar content.
As an alternative, I mix San Pelligrino Sparkling Natural Unflavored Mineral Water with lime juice and cranberry juice on ice for my favorite daily combination year round.
Plain water, which I'm supposed to drink by doctor's orders every day, is just too boring.
My newly diagnosed autoimmune disease has precipitated the elimination of my favorite, unsweetened tea drinking in large quantities. Plus, I'm not supposed to have my wintertime favorite, black coffee, anymore either.
I sometimes have whole milk over ice with dinner. I crave OJ sometimes. I was having V-8 over ice at breakfast but not anymore because my blood pressure, for the first time in my usually low bp life, now runs high.
It's supposed to be water or nothing from now on but it's not really working out.
Sorry about the long answer.

Actually I drink zero alcohol beers. Does that count?
debm55
(61,763 posts)ProfessorGAC
(77,287 posts)I always liked the taste of beer, but didn't like the alcohol buzz. So, I was always limited to 2 beers, sometimes 3, usually 1.
It occurred to me a long time ago that if I went to low alcohol beer, I could have more beers and never catch the buzz.
When Klausthaller introduced an NA amber, and it was even lower in alcohol then brands like Sharp's, I switched. Tasted better even less alcohol.
Did that for years.
Then the zero beers hit the market. As zero beers do not use distillation & re-carbonation to reduce the alcohol, the taste got even better, and it takes 30 six-packs to equal the alcohol in one regular beer.
So, that's all I've bought since those became available everywhere. There are 3 or 4 brands I buy regularly.
I'm the same way with other alcoholic beverages. In '25, I bought 4 two liter bottles of wine. I drank NONE of it. Strictly used for cooking. I went through 2 bottles of sherry, 1 bottle of brandy, 2 bottles of bourbon. Same thing; all for cooking.i think the last alcoholic beverage I had was a bloody mary when I went to see a band at the local club in mid November. Might be a margarita at the Mexican restaurant, but I don't remember if we went before or after the club visit.
No, I'm not much of a drinker.
