(595 posts)I have 12 pairs that I swap out every workout. And out of that, they are pretty much the same brand / style.
6 pairs of hightop, 6 pairs of standard training style shoes.
Yes, I'm OCD.
In my defense, I used to work part-time as a personal trainer and pretty much none of them were bought at retail price.

(37,071 posts)Other than a pair of sandals I haven't worn in years, I think all my shoes are "athletic shoes." I don't have any that would remotely be called dress shoes. Two pairs of sneakers, a pair of trail shoes, and one of hiking boots. Also a couple pairs of water shoes and wader boots. Oh, and the 20 year old Crocs I'm wearing right now.

These days the Taylors are now carefully reserved for special occasion .. (festival wear, where I cut a tremendously fine figure - at least in my own mind)
(and after these many years - now thoroughly in need of replacement ... That would be the shoes, dammit! Not the other .. ! )
