For probably ten YEARS, he told it to EVERYONE he met--some more than once. I tried to keep telling him new jokes, hoping he would give that one up; he never did, right up until his death. (I had hoped it was buried with him....) It was kind of embarrassing, in a way, since he told it multiple times to people who had heard it before.

So, deb, sorry, but I'm going to trash this thread--nothing personal, of course, I just have a loathing for this joke, and have no desire to see it again.
