Car appraisal.

Estimate came in dead nuts what I expected, so I must still have my estimating skills (I used to be a cost estimator).

He offered $7,400 for both cars. So I listened to him talk about his quote, and diverted the discussion to us talking about our pets. Then, I brought him in the house to meet my wife. We shot the shit for awhile, and I then asked him if he could do $8,000. He thought about it for a moment and said OK.

I'm trying to do all of this while sicker than a fucking dog. I have a nasty auto-inflammatory disease (related to the Type 1 diabetes) that is flaring, and when he left I came upstairs, cried like a baby, said fuck it, and broke down and made an emergency Dr. appointment for 5 pm.

So hopefully I can get a Kenalog injection to stop this pain, then I'll try to buy the new car tomorrow (the salesman doesn't work on Tuesdays).

That's all I have today...you all have a good evening. I likely won't be back online until tonight or maybe tomorrow or the next day.

My husband loved dealing for cars, and he did pretty good. He'd probably take notes on your strategies.

You're getting a big job out of the way. After this, take a break and rest up, get better!

The finance company on one of my old cars sent me a lein release when the car was paid off in 2014. Turns out that it is a fucking copy without an original signature and the buyer can't accept the title of the old car. So I have to spend probably a few hours on the phone tomorrow with the finance company and try to get an original lein release. My fucking anger over this bullshit is immeasurable. Why the fuck would they send you an unsigned copy?

Went to the doc. I'm having a debilitating and disabling flare up on my skin due to that disease I have. It's pretty serious, and may require surgery. I got injections right into the site. It was a top five worst thing in my life. It hurt so bad before the shot that she had to help me take my shirt off. She wanted to numb it with lidocaine before the shots, but I told her to just do the shots. She gave me some kind of pad to bite down on, and she injected it...3 injections of Kenalog in slightly different locations, directly into the inflammation. They have to kind of poke the needle around and shoot in several locations. Made my eyes water. Took a Percocet for pain a few minutes ago because it takes awhile for the injections to work, and sometimes they don't work at all. We'll see what happens.

Thanks for reading my saga of stupid.

The only saga of stupid here is the finance co. sending a copy of the title without a signature. Must be someone who's new to the job or someone who doesn't get any rest.

I hope that it doesn't take you too long today to get it straightened out.

I hope that the nasty flare up has now calmed down a bit after the injections. I'm still wishing you good health!

That's why I take opiates only sparingly. They give me insomnia.

Running on fumes...

I have to get my shit together because I have a long phone call with Hyundai Motor Finance to have them send a new lein release, and then I have to go see the dealer for the new car.

Not feeling myself...I hope I don't fuck this up today. I'll probably end up signing away my life savings or something.

Gotta steel myself...I haven't felt stress like this in awhile.

I'm so tired that I feel like I'm going to puke.

I hope you have a nice day.

I was attempting to say that maybe the person who sent the unsigned copy of title doesn't get any sleep just like us.

Many, many years ago way before I had sleep issues, I had a bunch of bills dues all at once. I wrote out the checks, stuffed the checks into the envelopes, went to the USPS box and threw them all into the box without any stamps!!

Obviously they all got sent back to me because there wasn't any postage.

Try to take it easy and don't forget to take deep breaths. You got this!

Have a stress free day, Lucky!
