Beautifulnice experience at the local foodmart today.
I went to do some comparative price shopping with the Walmart that's 23 miles away - Walmart won hands-down, I saved almost $50 by going there yesterday but try to support loal as much as possible.
Empty carb foods is something I totaly avoid, but got a taste for some and caved in - got a 'short stack' of Pringles (damn, they were good, lol !!).
So there I was, standing in line with this pathetically small cannister of junk food. Everyone else had a cart full of groceries. I'd have gone to the self-check, but I use cash and they only take debit or credit. Phewey.
The Lady in front of me insisted that I go ahead of her, as did the Gentleman in front of her - what Sweethearts! I graciously accepted their offers and the three of us got into a conversation about automation -vs- human cashiers. We had a wonderful time.
Bottom line - I have no idea how this Lady and Gentleman vote, but they certainly renewed my faith in human kindness - something we definitely need more of nowadays.
Bless you both, whoever you are!
