A measly two for me. I've got nothing for Chestnut!

(27,782 posts)but that's well off championship pace. You'll need to slip another 65 dogs in between and really ratchet down that time between the first and last ones you eat.
Next year when you're in pursuit of the international title, you're going to roast Chestnut over an open fire!

(27,782 posts)It's not likely that any morsel of food in Mr. Chestnut's refrigerator goes to waste. He can consume it all. Training pays off!

(27,782 posts)Out of curiosity, do you feel the same way about the Spanish tomato-throwing festival, La Tomatina?
Usually two covers me.
My brother and I had a contest decades ago. Brats, fully loaded. I ate 4, he ate 5. I was ill the next 5-6 hours. I tap out at 2 now, which is still pushing my limit.

(27,782 posts)I can't recall the exact wording, but you once posted that if you were running Costco, the first thing you'd do is get rid of the existing hot dog deal. That was just from a pure business/economics standpoint?
There is a belief in the retail industry in "loss leaders." Get customers through the door to buy something that is a screaming good deal and then they might look around and purchase some other items while there.

They also sell their brand of hot dogs at grocery stores and that's where the ones that I ate yesterday came from.
