(7,911 posts)Not an album, really, just a collection of 78 RPM singles I've digitized into MP3.
I've got this thing for music of the 20s and 30s.
Yesterday it was Dieterich Buxtehude's greatest hits from the 1600s.

(17,888 posts)Album for years. It'll be a sad day for sure when Mr Zimmerman is no longer with us...and "these visions, of Johanna are all that remain"
Still In Wisconsin
(4,450 posts)and when that sad day comes, I just might lose what's left of my sanity, build a fire on Main Street (just two blocks away) and shoot it full of holes.
Docreed2003
(17,888 posts)As I stop off in Wisconsin on my way to Minnesota to pay tribute to the man. Hell, I know he would neither want nor expect it, but you know the vigils will happen. Might as well be there to show my respect, via Wisconsin and Main Street fires complete with shoot outs!

the release of this new album..
Why would they bother to come here with all the sh*t going on...so another
new European or Australian band I'll probably never get to see live...

(1,756 posts)I love Bill Lee, it's like my life. Also the next track too....(not my life, and also not the gorilla'). Of course I'm a bit biased.....I think "The Best Of Waren Zevon" is a box set of 20 albums including learning to flinch and the rest of his live work as well as EVERY one of his studios....the man didn't put out a single bad song
