How to push the DU away from it's rightward direction

You've seen the RW posts.
The posts defending "free" trade, foreign intervention, against tuition free public college, against universal healthcare, etc...these are neoCON positions and are suppose to be off limits on the DU.
They try to demean us with name calling like "Bernie Bros"...pixie dust...unicorns...etc.

How do we stop it?
Should we alert every post that is RW and hold them to the Terms of Service agreement?

Frustrating isn't it?

Don't be a wingnut (right-wing or extreme-fringe).

Democratic Underground is an online community for politically liberal people who understand the importance of working within the system to elect more Democrats and fewer Republicans to all levels of political office. Teabaggers, Neo-cons,...

...mention of the DU it would not have been locked I guess.

However, one small fact...no warning...and therefore no chance to do so. It was just locked period. Nothing "democratic" about that in my view.

And send them to the ADMIN discussion asking them why they are allowing these violations of the Terms of Service agreement?

If Bernie gets the nomination, I think DU will self-correct leftward. The problem is that we have seen that the Party will reflect the leadership, and if that leadership is Clinton, then it will reflect her priorities. Long-held New Deal Principles be damned.

One person's neocon is another person's 'trusted advisor'...

...to head over to the GDP group and alert every neocon post as a violation of the Democratic Underground "Terms of Service" agreement.

Yeah...That would fly...NOT.

This site is going to go through a massive change at the end of the primary. It will all depend on who the nominee is on what that change will be.

Until then, engage as you think is useful, but don't put yourself out there in situations that could get you banned.

To be fighting the same fights we did during the Bush Admin, when now we have to fight a larger part of our party over it.

I say "A larger part" because I used to have posts hidden by the admins for calling out Bush Admin torture. The Establishment apologists/pushers have always been here, but not as loud as they are now. Your reaction is perfectly normal for someone with principles- just remember they have an investment in the system, so they simply cannot be otherwise.

The best part though is...we're not going away. This movement isn't going away. DU may ban all of us, but the movement will continue. The Left WILL be heard.

Jill Stein of the Green Party will get my vote unless Bernie wins.
I can vote my conscious.
