Labor and Allies Demands Better Working Conditions from El Super
Reporting San Diego Exclusive.
June 9, 2015 (City Heights) About 60 people from different walks of life came to El Super at City Heights. Their goal, to present a letter to management demanding respect and a fair contract.
El Super is owned by the Chedraui group, which is based in Mexico City. The group owns a chain of 212 stores in Mexico and 46 in the Western United States, that go under the brand El Super.
In Mexico the stores are located in both better areas of town, as well as working class neighborhoods. In the United States they tend to be located in popular, mostly majority minority neighborhoods, where they intend to serve immigrants looking for a similar experience to their home country.

Crossposted from Labor... and no way you could pay me enough to post this on GD. Labor matters, but not there... made abundantly clear.
But if you wanted to love another company, Chedraui is just as good as Wally World. I see they are learning tactics from it.
