Salvage Dawgs Has Been Cancelled.....
I got an e-mail yesterday that informed me that the Salvage Dawgs show is no more.
Here is just the first paragraph of a letter they put out:
After 8 years, 11 seasons, 143 episodes, 77 dog years, 140 plus salvage projects, 15 bloody appendages, maybe 2 or 3 real on camera disagreements, 1 or 20 miscalculations, 143 unique shop creations, 22 near misses, and several total failures, we have wrapped the filming of Salvage Dawgs. The opportunity to share our small business with a worldwide audience has been an incredible adventure and we are thankful to have worked with some great people along the way!
This was one of my favorite shows. It is both informative and entertaining. I learned alot about repurposing and recycling from this show and many of the techniques that they used to repurpose and recycle I incorporated in some of the projects I worked on in my hobby activities.
I don't know if there are many other fans of this show here on DU - but if there are - I'm asking you to make some noise to save this show.
Save Salvage Dawgs!!!!
[NOTE: I realize that there are many other more important things to save in these times of Trump (i.e., the USPS) but this show was one of my escapes from Trump world and all the bad news.]

(15,092 posts)I haven't seen it in a year or so (switched carriers) but I was always amazed at the neat old stuff (doors, mouldings, windows, staircases, etc.) they removed from very old homes, churches, banks, municipal buildings, and other structures scheduled for demolition. Sad that it cancelled.
