Depending on what you're selling...for instance, I deal in vinyl records. Discogs has come up as a viable alternative to Ebay...you can actually set the price you want and they only charge 3% at the end...look around to see if you can find other companies dealing with what you'e selling on ebay.

I have thousands of lps to sell..just cant seem to get anywhere on ebay with them. I see the same lp sell for hundreds of dollars and I have the exact same thing in excellent condition and cant seem to sell it for $24. It is a secondary ebay site for me and the truth is that I focus more on the collectible site. I think there is a lot of shilling going on in the vinyl department.. Did you have good luck on ebay?
