It felt as though part of the soul was gone, and the grammar.... ugh.

(18,775 posts)3. I started watching it in Japanese but there was so much to look at I switched.
Always the English is a little fast. I guess you can say more in a shorter time in Japanese.
It seemed better than some other translations.
I noticed the English text and the spoken words didn't always match.
I also read that the English voice actors didn't know what was going on in the last few episodes.
(I guess no one else did either, though.)
I speak a little Japanese but not nearly enough to keep up with the dialog.
