I’ve never heard of Brian Cook so I Googled his artwork. Very graphic in color, which I like. His landscapes remind me of the animated artwork in the opening sequence of All Creatures Great and Small currently on PBS. I think those were supposed to mimic old train travel posters from the 30s and 40s.

I have a couple reproductions of London Transport posters in my bedroom that look a lot like his work. His work is so simple at times, yet so expressive! I bought his book "Brian Cook's Landscapes of Britain" which is so inspiring!
