Helen Frankenthaler, Abstract Artist dies at 83
R.I.P.
She was one of my earliest inspirations, back in the day. Not just a great painter, but one of the few women who rose to prominence in that male-centric movement. (I acknowledge marriage to Robert Motherwell didn't hurt.)
