I bought myself a present at AC Moore for $20. This will be a new experience for me.

I will need to reconfigure my lighting a bit, I think.

(Painted in my lap on the couch, not at the easel.)

Your lap painting is nice. Painting your washes it probably easier to do on you lap since you can control the paint flow better, but the easel will work with the dry brushing and detail work. You’ll enjoy it!
