I was thinking I might try to sell my work. I need to get better first though, I’m not there yet. But maybe in a few years I will be.

Did you take classes on how to do this? And how did it take you to reach this level of success?

I’ve been playing around with soft pastels about seven or eight years now. I can see where I got better with each year. Im hoping in another few years I might be ready to try selling some of my paintings.

That's what it reminds me of but I don't know the formal definitions of what makes something impressionistic or not?

Your pastels are all so good! I love them. You capture nature so well. I like the frothiness of the grass and the contrast with the trees. The picture looks like a magical meadow during a full moon. Just enough light to soften everything. I can almost hear the calling of the frogs and the chirping of crickets.

This is a wonderful depiction of the subtleties of night colors. Your textures are wonderful too in this moonscape. And it works just as well as a dayscape!
