(2,261 posts)Scheduled to play Tanglewood this summer. No official announcement yet, but I doubt the concert will go on. This is of course disappointing, but better safe than sorry.

(2,261 posts)I hope not, though. The musicians feed off the energy of the audience, and audience members also feed off the energy of other concert goers. I don't see how VR can replicate that.

(4,622 posts)But for those at high risk like me, it may be as close as we ever get again. I think over time concerts will go to smaller venues and add more tour dates. But I think the days of the mega 3-day outdoor festivals are over.
