(48,794 posts)I had the feeling that everything Katie said, everywhere she went was being monitored by Tom and Scientology.
When she first hooked up with Tom, she was open to new ideas. A lot of gals do that when they want more similarities than differences with their loved one. But she was a prisoner and couldn't abet her daughter entering into such a life.
Like a cult member escaping, she had to have planned this for a long time. For example, she couldn't file in New York State unless she had legal residence (one year maybe?). And she had to wait until Tom was out of the country and could only respond by surrogates and agents.
I'm very glad for her.
